It is our belief that extra effort put into the design of a study can significantly improve its value to the client, without affecting the cost of providing the study. Hence, we liaise carefully with prospective clients even before a quotation is prepared to ensure that the study we detail in the quote is as close as possible to the one desired by the client. This reduces additional costs incurred throughout the study to a minimum and ensures that our expertise in design, performance and analysis of clinical trials is brought to bear as early as possible in the process. The CEO of Total Scientific, David Mosedale, was a Principal Investigator at the Translational Research Unit, Papworth Hospital NHS Foundation Trust, Cambridgeshire from 2002 until 2006. David began his career with a PhD in the Department of Biochemistry at the University of Cambridge in 1997 and then worked as a Post-doctoral Research Associate in the Inflammation, Research and Therapy group in the Department of Medicine, Cambridge University until 2002. David has a strong background in assay development and medical diagnostics, and has published papers on a range of disease areas, including cardiovascular disease, immunity and neurodegenerative diseases using a broad range of techniques.
